This is the alternate bobbin case for embroidery and free motion work. It goes in the same spot as the standard bobbin case, under the needle plate of drop-in bobbin machines. Its bobbin tension is set tighter than the standard case, for embroidery bobbin threads other than Brother's own recommended embroidery bobbin thread. Keep your standard bobbin case for regular sewing.
