This is the hook holder assembly for the automatic needle threader on Brother PR multi-needle embroidery machines. It holds the tiny hook that pulls the thread through the needle eye during automatic threading. Replace it if the hook is bent or the threader no longer catches the thread.
Confirmed in Brother's parts lists for the PR670E and PR670EC. Older Brother parts lists show this part as XC5732051, and suppliers list the two numbers as the same part for the PR600, PR600II, PR620, PR650, PR655, PR680W, PR1000, PR1000E, PR1050X and PR1055X.
